Bendao Baiglai Waterfalls is one of the prominent tourist destinations of Hadingma, it is a triple waterfalls and located 3km from samparidisa village, the name “bendao baiglai” is derived from a dimasa word ‘bendao’ means ‘two sisters’ and ‘baiglai’ means ‘jump down’. Long ago the two sisters committed suicide here by jumping down from the first waterfall. Thus, the name of the waterfalls is known as ‘bendao baiglai’. This waterfalls has so much to offer to the travellers visiting this beautiful place. Tourists are always attracted towards the hills,waterfalls,rivers and the exclusive flora and fauna of Hadingma. Among them the waterfalls in dima hasao always adds an extra appeal to the stunning beauty of this destination.To reach this waterfall, you will have to walk 3 km through the moist deciduous forest. Though it seems to be difficult, you will forget all the tiresome of the journey, once you reach the waterfalls.The best time to visit Bendao Baiglai waterfalls is from July to September.
